HTC Touch 2 smartphone has many user friendly applications like: Multimedia: The handset has music player which has capability to play the MP3, WAV, AAC ,AAC+ musics. The video player of the gadget can play videos of formats MP4, WMV, H.263 & H.264. However, handset manufacturer has not included the FM radio device.
This may be called the biggest drawback of the handset. There is a mono speakerphone in the widget. There is 3.5 mm. audio jack so that handset users can listen the voice on the headphone or earphones. Memory: HTC Touch 2has inbuilt memory of 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM.
The users will however, with the help of micro SD memory card in the gadget will find large space for storage of their files and folders. The Li-ion 1100 battery of the widget has the standby time of 500 hours and talk time of 450 minutes in any GSM network Camera: The widget has camera of 3.15 Megapixels.
It has capability of capturing the images with the resolution 2048x1536 pixels. It also has capability to capture video shots at the rate of 30 frames per second. However, there is no secondary camera in the gadget. Screen: HTC Touch 2 has 2.8“ LCD screen ,which is touch sensitive. Its features are scratch resistant, display resolution of 240* 320 pixels, Zoom in and out & swipe navigation. It supports 65K colours. Connectivity: There are many connectivity applications in the gadget like Class 10 GPRS, HSCSD, Class 10 Edge & Wi-Fi. Users can get access of wireless internet on the mobile using any one of the connectivity applications. There are also provision of transferring the data from handset to other device like computer with the Bluetooth v2.1 & USB data cable of the handset. The browser applications of the handset are Opera & HTML.
The handset can comfortably be operated in GSM as well as 3G network. Miscellaneous: People will find windows mobile 6.5 professional operating system on HTC Touch 2. Handset users can now view their favourite documents saved in word, excel, powerpoint and Pdf formats using document viewer application of the gadget. People can send & receive the text or video messages using the instant messaging feature of the widget. The size of the handset is 104 x 55 x 12.9 mm. And its weight is 110 grams. There is 528 MHz processor on the widget. The ringtones that can be saved on the gadget are polyphonic, WAV and MP3. GPS navigator is available on the gadget. People will therefore, can easily trace their destination points using this feature. The handset comes in three charming colours ie., Black, brown and Silver. Games are available on the gadget. Users can also download new games on the gadget from internet. Calculator, calendar, alarm and voice recorder are some other features of the gadget.
